Like a punch in the gut

Yesterday, I registered my soon to be 5 year old for Kindergarten in our local public school! Seriously, I was a wreck all day... and registering was the easy part;  come August I'm sure I may need some strong meds to cope with my baby going to big school!! Waaaa!!

The Cloth Napkin

Husband Quote:" I really love using these cloth napkins!"

Earlier this year I resolved to use cloth napkins for every meal in our house. I used to reserve the napkins for guests... but, why?? Who are the most precious people in my life?? Um...yep.. it was like a big DUH.

I am sooo not putting down the families who use paper napkins... (after all, we're only talking napkins) but, for me it's one little way of nurturing my precious family WHILE treating them as well as I would a dinner guest.

It is really the little things....

The days leading up to Christmas

Christmas time is a glorious time of family,baking,programs and plays. LC was a shepherd in his school play. Unfortunately, I took a camera with a dead battery. We have video..PTL, but no pics.. But, I assure you he was precious!!
